The community museum based at the Beverley Guildhall will be exhibiting a display commemorating the centenary of the sinking of the Titanic, running until the end of May. The exhibits will focus on the local impact of the tragedy, featuring photographs, letters and statements from survivors and their relatives, with connections to the East Yorkshire area.
The Beverley Guildhall is an attraction in itself. A civic centre in Beverley since 1501, the Guildhall and the town are just a short drive from our accommodation near the seaside town of Bridlington.
The exhibition runs until May 25, with free admission to the museum and the Guildhall itself.
