A Slice Of Local at Beverley Food Festival

In true British style, what better way to celebrate great local produce than a day-long, family-friendly festival?

The Beverley Food Festival 2014 will be taking place for the ninth time on Sunday 5th October 2014, in Saturday Market, Beverley.

Just a taster of what’s to come at the event, the market will be full of food, festivities and endless fun! The Beverly Food Festival is free to attend and will be filled with almost 100 stalls distributing local produce, along with a cookery theatre marquee, street entertainment, Mayoral charity BBQ, competitions and much more!

If you fancy sharpening up on your cooking skills, there will also be demonstrations throughout the day by some of the region’s Michelin-starred chefs!

The Festival is free to attend and will officially open to visitors at 10am, with a selection of special guests attending throughout the duration of the day, including BBC Radio Humberside.

So, whether you are a fully-acclaimed foodie of festival-goer, come along to discover the wealth of delicious local food and drink on offer in the region!

Since being established in 2006 by Beverley Town Council, the Festival now attracts around 20,000 visitors and is expected to be a real family day of appetizing activities!
