Directly adjacent to the old warehouses that form the East Riding Museum of Rural Life. The windmill is the last working mill of it's type in Yorkshire and was built in 1821. Our accommodation near Bridlington lies a few miles north of the historic building which is close to Hornsea, another town popular with holiday makers throughout the year.</p><p>Unlike many other attractions in the area, the opening times of Wassand Hall are limited throughout the year, so it would be easy to miss out on the treats that this Tudor Stately Home has for visitors. Aside from magnificent walled gardens, the hall also boast one of the finest collections of 18th and 19th century artworks in the area. Just a short drive from our accommodation is the Bridlington Harbour Heritage Museum, a centrepoint for the historic town of Bridlington itself.</p><p>Visitors to the museum have the opportunity to explore photographs, harbour history models, a diorama of fishing techniques and an art gallery where paintings by local artists may be viewed or purchased. The centrepiece of the museum is the 'The Three Brothers'; a sailing Coble built in 1912 that has permanent moorings in the harbour.
