The Magical Journey of A Christmas Carol

The Magical Journey of A Christmas Carol

This Christmas time, Charles Dickins’ classic tale returns to the stage. A Christmas Carol, newly adapted by Vincent Regan, perfectly captures the magic of Christmas, at East Riding Theatre, with performances until Saturday 3rd January.

Treat yourself to the performance of this much-loved story, which will take you on a festive journey of darknes, despair, warmth and joy, to realise the magic of true Christmas spirit.

The adventure begins on a cold, dark Christmas Eve, with London’s meanest miser, Ebenezer Scrooge. Despising the thought of any happiness during this festive season (or any other time of the year!), Scrooge is miserable, angry and just plain mean, well-known for his catchphrase – “Bah, humbug!”

But, this Christmas Eve marks the seventh year following the death of Scrooge’s business partner, Jacob Marley. As the clock strikes 12, three ghosts pay Scrooge a visit and offer versions of a happy past, a harsh present and a horrific future. But will this captivating journey be enough to transform Scrooge’s cold heart in time for Christmas?

A real festive treat for all the family, don’t miss out on this special performance! For further information and to book your place for A Christmas Carol at East Riding Theatre, please visit the website below.
