Historic Wassand Hall lies just half an hours drive from our holiday cottages on the East Yorkshire coast. Our accommodation near Bridlington lies a few miles north of the historic building which is close to Hornsea, another town popular with holiday makers throughout the year.
Unlike many other attractions in the area, the opening times of Wassand Hall are limited throughout the year, so it would be easy to miss out on the treats that this Tudor Stately Home has for visitors. Aside from magnificent walled gardens, the hall also boast one of the finest collections of 18th and 19th century artworks in the area. The estate has been under the ownership of one family since 1530, and a half mile parkland walk offers visitors views of Hornsea Mere which belongs to the estate.
Wassand Hall first opens this year with an open day on May 25th, but full details of this years calendar of open days and events can be found by clicking here.
