Take a look at some of our festive games that you and your loved ones can take part in this Christmas, during your winter break at North Kingsfield:

The Santa Hat Game

Materials: A Red Santa Hat, Green Elf Hat (or equivalent Christmas-themed hat) for each participant

How to Play:

1. This game takes place during the duration of the entire event and everyone must be wearing a hat to begin

2. The objective is to not be the last person left wearing a hat

3. At the start of the gathering, announce the simple objective to your guests or players

4. The only rule is that no one can take their hat off until you have done so

Continue with your festive activities and as time goes by, people will take their attention off of you – forgetting about the objective of the game. Eventually you are to remove your hat and watch as others realize. Gradually, the hats will be taken off, amidst a few cheeky smirks and giggles. The last person to realize and remove their hat is the loser of the game.

The Xmas Present Game

Materials: 1 Pair of Gloves, 1 Hat, 1 Die and a prize wrapped in serveral layers of newspaper and boxes

How to Play:

The group stands in a circle with the gloves, hat and wrapped box in the centre

1. Someone begin the game by rolling the dice

2. If a 6 is rolled, the player quickly enters the centre of the circle, puts on the gloves and hat and begins unwrapping the package

3. This player must move quickly, as the ne next person proceeds to roll the dice

4. When another 6 is rolled, this player will enter the centre of the circle and take the gloves and hat off of the person in the centre

5. The game continues until the package is complete unwrapped and the last person receives the present inside

There is a wide range of activities you can take part in to get into the festive spirit this Christmas, at North Kingsfield. Whether you simply enjoy a cosy night reading in front of the fire, a relaxing couples getaway with a whirlpool bath or a fun-packed family break, full of festive treats and games!
