Flamborough Lighthouse Reopening

On the headland just north of Bridlington, close to your accommodation on the East Yorkshire coast, is Flamborough Lighthouse which is once again open for guided tours until the end of September.

There has been a lighthouse at Flamborough Head since 1669, but the existing tower  was completed by architect Samuel Wyatt in 1806. Fully automated since 1996, the lighthouse offers visitors stunning views of East Yorkshire's Heritage Coast, as long as they can tackle the 119 steps to the top of the tower, of course!

A tour of the lighthouse is just £3.20 for adults and £2.20 for children and the over 60s. Family tickets (2 adults and up to 3 children) are available for £10.25. For more information on the lighthouse and tours, please click here or call Sewerby Hall and Gardens on 01262 673769.
