This weekend, the hugely popular, BDO British Darts Open Championship returns to Bridlington Spa for the 40th staging of this highly ranked darts-focused tournament.

Firmly established as one of the most popular tournaments for both players and spectators alike, the BDO Championship will take place from Friday 19th September until Sunday 21st September.

This high-flying event will play host to some of the most highly respected and skilled stars such as World Number 1 James Wilson, 2011 British Champion Scott Waites, 2-time Champion Martin Adams, 3-time World Professional Championship Runner-up Tony O’Shea and 2014 runner-up Alan Norris!

 

Yorkshireman Garry Thompson will also be returning to defend his title following his defeat against Wilson in last years final, with a win of 6 – 5.

In the ladies game, last years winner Deta Hedman will be looking to gain her astonishing 10th title of 2014!

This truly international event will see some of the top players amongst both men’s and women’s darts, from across the UK and throughout Europe. Hosted at a magnificent venue, it is viewed as a top ranking Category A event and will present you with some of the BDO’s most prestigious events in the darts calendar!
