On Saturday 18 and Sunday August Bridlington will once again celebrate les fruits de la mer at the annual Bridlington Seafood Festival. Organised by the Bridlington Harbour Commissioners, the festival showcases the best of Bridlington Harbour in celebration of the owns local maritime heritage and successful fishing fleet, the largest shellfish catching fleet in the UK. Lobster is a particular speciality.
Over the two days of the festival events will be taking place with something to offer for all the family including historic boats, a treasure hunt, live shellfish to view, crab dressing and cookery demonstrations, plus lots more to be announced.
